Basically I'm looking to be able to:
1. Record what is happening on the screen itself (and possibly highlight things etc)
2. Record audio
3. Any other additional functionality that I have not listed that would be useful for training videos.
A followup question to that would be, what software do you use for this in your training videos and why do you use it?
I should specify, this would be for Windows and/or Linux (ideally "and" Linux), as I am not always using Windows and would "like" to have a solution for Linux as well (mac support would be a bonus, but not a requirement). It would be good if it was the same product, but if it would require multiple products that would be OK, just looking for some direction as to what some of the better ones are. I googled it but it's still a bit unclear.
